Poem Of The Day Before They Kick Me Out Of The Library

Quick post, gotta go, before I leave, here's a poem, I wrote today.

Written April 29th, 2013

DRY MY EYES, FROM THE TEARS I CRY

LEFT ALONE

WITHOUT A HOME

THE TEARS

I DRY

BY MYSELF

GIVE ME

ANOTHER DAY OF HOPE

WASH AWAY THE PAIN

I WISH

TO DO WITHOUT

NOT MY FAULT

NOT IN THE CARDS

THAT I WANTED

TO BE DEALT

TRAPPED

WITHOUT A PLACE TO GO

TOUGH ROAD

I WISH

NOT TO BE

BUT IT'S A FACT

THAT REMAINS

REALITY

TRYING TO WRITE A SONG

THE ONLY THING

I HAVE LEFT

IN THIS WORLD

SHOOT ME AT THE STAKES

FOR TRYING TO RELIVE

MY MISTAKES

MY MOM

WENT AWAY

BY THE TIME

I WAS FIFTEEN

I WRITE THESE WORDS

TO STAY ALIVE

TO SURVIVE

WHERE THE DAD

I NEVER SEEN

WENT

YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND

I TRY TO EXPLAIN

BUT EVERYTHING

WENT THE WRONG WAY

THE OTHER WAY

I STILL HOLD ON TO A DREAM

NOT EASY

A LOT OF TEARS

I HAVE BEEN THROUGH

I DON'T RECOMMEND

THESE WORDS I LIVE

THE ONLY THING I HAVE LEFT

TO HOLD ON TO

AND GIVE

PLEASE FORGIVE ME

I WISH I

COULD TELL YOU

SOMETHING ELSE

MY ADVICE WOULD BE

HAVE FUN

WHILE YOU CAN

BEFORE YOU FALL

INTO THE GRAVE

REGRET SOMETHING

YOU NEVER DID

I TRIED IN LIFE

THE BEST

THAT I COULD DO

ALL I HAVE LEFT

IS BLOOD TO SPILL

YOU THOUGHT

YOU HAD THE TRUTH

MY REALITY

A LIE

NEVER TOLD

MY PROBLEM REMAINS

STILL UNSOLVED

DRY MY EYES

FROM THE TEARS

I TRY

NOT TO CRY

A PLACE

I RUN AND HIDE

HAVE TO GO THROUGH

THE PAIN

BEFORE YOU GET TO

THE GLORY

JUST ANOTHER

PRICE IN LIFE

YOU HAVE TO PAY

I DON'T RECOMMEND

GOING DOWN

THE SAME ROAD

I HAVE BEEN TO

I'M A CRAZY MOTHERFUCKER

LIVING ON A DIFFERENT CORNER

WITHOUT THE COST

OF RENT

BUT THE DREAMS

ON THE STREET

ARE NOT THE SAME

AS YOU MIGHT THINK

JUDGE ME

BY THE COVER

OF MY BOOK

TAKE A SECOND LOOK

BEFORE YOU MAKE

A JUDGEMENTAL DECISION

I JUST MIGHT CHANGE

SHOW YOU

A THING OR TWO

I HAVE TO GO THROUGH LIFE

JUST LIKE YOU

JUST THROUGH

THE EYES

OF A DIFFERENT STORY

WITH END RESULTS

UNKNOWN

These words are all over the place, but then again, HEY, SO AM I..!!, what a coincidence, how convenient, matches the point in question, as if, you didn't have an answer. Stare in the mirror, to see what I am after.

ANOTHER DREAM TO BELIEVE

I just sent in my final payment to get my song "Alcohol Call"  recorded should be done in about 3 weeks or less!! Can't wait to hear how it sounds, as it is a long shot in the dark, it's going to be a country song. I wrote these latest lyrics between 4-23-13 and 4-25-13 at my Secret Sleeping Spot on my vay cay, as I am currently unemployed. I am still trying and I will never give up, it's because of you, I never will. Thanks for your support and reading my words. I love you all!!!! I hope someday to make you all proud!!
AS THE MOON ROSE
I LAY MY HEAD DOWN
CONTEMPLATE
WHAT I DID WRONG TODAY
DREAM ABOUT
WHAT TOMORROW
MAY BRING
DO I HAVE A CHANCE
TO MAKE IT IN A WORLD
I DON'T UNDERSTAND
THE WIND BLOWS
IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION
TO A PLACE
WITHOUT A HOME
ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS
I DON'T KNOW
ALONE
EMPTY
UNDERNEATH
A FULL MOON
MUSIC THE ONLY THING
LEFT
TO HANG ONTO
KEEP ME SAFE AND WARM
PASS THE TIME
THROUGH THE STORM

A HARD ROAD TO FOLLOW
GIVE ME A BIGGER BETTER BITTER PILL
TO SWALLOW
TAKE ME AWAY
FROM MY SORROWS
WAKE ME UP TOMORROW
WHEN
THE NIGHTMARE IS OVER

GIVE ME
THE KEYS
TO PARADISE
YOU WOULDN'T
BELIEVE I'VE
BEEN BLESSED BEYOND BELIEF

AN AMAZING RIDE
A SIGHT
I WISH YOU COULD SEE
LETTERS
I PUT TOGETHER
TO EXPLAIN MY WORDS
GIVE ME ANOTHER DAY
TO DREAM
NEVER TAKE AWAY
MY MEMORIES
I MADE THE BED
I REST MY HEAD
BLAME MYSELF
ALL MY FAULT
I DON'T BLAME
ANYBODY ELSE
BAD CHOICE
I GUESS YOU COULD SAY
I TRIED
RIGHT OR WRONG
THAT'S THE WAY
 LIFE GOES

Deal of the Century / 10 days until unemployment

Well well well it's been a swell couple of weeks. I've been working and making money as the clown in the Staute of Liberty suit. I swear the people driving by are more entertaining to me than I am to them. It's a fun job but somebody's got to do it, thank God for music, I couldn't do my job without it. I found the deal of the century, in fact, I am typing on it as I type. I had a homeless buddy sell me a iPad for a 100 bucks for which he paid 4 loritabs and 40 bucks for. I had purchased a Zeki Jelly Bean tablet @ Kmart for 99 dollars and had it for about a week. I downloaded all kinds of music videos and one day went to play the videos and found they were no longer on my device which made me very upset, as music videos are my lifeline from the outside pressures of the real world. So finding the iPad, I returned the android piece of shit back to the Kmart and got my money back and picked up the smooth as silk, works every time iPad. And as a bonus, unbeknownst to me, was able to download all the songs I had purchased before from iTunes and download them on to my great new iPad device which amounts to over 700 songs and 2 full length video concerts that I had forgotten I even bought, Journey 1981 Live from Houston and Cheap Trick Live at Budokan 30th aniversary edition. Great stuff!!!
So I am so blessed to have a iPad with all the entertainment I need including GarageBand to write music with, Tiger Woods golf and iMovie to make, what else, movies!! And I have Internet access at work!!! Which leads me to say that I have 10 more days until my job ends which is no surprise as I know after April 15th, tax season is over and there is no need to market the service and let me mention I am the last Statue of Liberty standing as my co worker called in sick for a few days then stop calling and never showed up again for work which means more hours for me.
I know it's been a while since I posted (like you give a shit) but I have been doing some work, writing the occasional poem, shooting video and playing video games. This morning I wrote this poem and I will attach video on what I saw after I wrote the poem and I left my Secret Sleeping Spot which, to me anyway, was pretty cool. We had a rainstorm in Key West the day before.
Final note, I have my song "Alcohol Call" in music production with a company called Magic Key Productions/Red Rocks Records which I hope to have done by the end of April and I am registered with ASCAP. We'll see what happens. Exciting to me, I recited just the chorus to my bosses' wife and a regular former WNBA Olympic gold medalist musician client of Liberty Tax, and they both got goosebumps, and it wasn't some smoke up my ass bullshit, I felt the bumps!!! So that was shocking and beautiful to hear. You never know how the audience might take your words. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

SUNSHINE
ON A BRAND NEW DAY

THE RAIN
FROM YESTERDAY
CAME AND WENT

GOD KEPT ME
SAFE AND WARM
FROM THE STORM

THE MOURNING DOVE
GREETS ME WITH A KISS
AND A SMILE

TO LET ME KNOW
THAT I CAN MOVE ON

GIVES ME
ANOTHER CHANCE
TO MAKE THIS WORLD
A BETTER PLACE

NO NEED FOR
SORROW OR PITY
NO NEED FOR
GREED OR TAKE AWAY

WE ARE ALL
ONE HUMAN FAMILY

WE NEED TO ACT
ACCORDINGLY

STOP THE BULLSHIT
THAT BLINDS OUR EYESIGHT

WE NEED TO MOVE FORWARD
TO SEE A BETTER BRIGHTER DAY

STICK THE RUT
IN THE BACKSEAT
OF A CAR
TREAT IT LIKE
A RED HEADED STEP CHILD
KEEP MOVING FORWARD

ESCAPE THE PAIN OF YESTERDAY
STEP ON THE PEDAL
TO GET FAR
SLEEP OUTSIDE
SAFE FROM THE STORM

Here's the video, I hope it works!! Have a fun and great weekend!!!
